We need our Senior Digital Strategist to lead our strategy offer, bringing their extensive experience and passion for Global digital trends and innovation. The role involves unifying tactical executions into an overall solution and vision for our Clients, built on insight, to challenge, drive and support their long-term business objectives. You will possess a deep understanding of working complex digital platforms as well as have a passion for discovering new ways to execute innovative brand experiences.

Always Consumer focussed, our executions often need to be supported and implemented through B2B channels. As the Senior Digital strategist, you’ll have proven experience in building digital ecosystems for clients including Shopper & Ecommerce, CRM, Training and Loyalty programmes. You’ll also have experience working on digital transformation projects with large multinational organisations that span multiple countries. Additionally, you’ll be excited to support on pitches and new business development where required.

Someone who can take key insights and trends to challenge and inspire the most senior of Stakeholders, whilst being able to relay complex ideas to the most junior of people with ease. You’ll be collaborating closely with our Client Services, Data Analyst, Technical and Creative Leads. We’re a busy bunch which means you will need to juggle execution of many simultaneous programs to meet business and brand goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify new opportunities for innovation supported with best practice and data insight for audiences.
  • Compile and conduct research including competitive data, emerging shopper trends, ethnographic studies, and consumer insights
  • Evangelize the power of digital/social innovation to inspire cutting edge strategy/creative/executions for our Clients and internal departments
  • Drive inspiring briefing and brainstorming sessions
  • Collaborate with and mentor team members with a focus on strategic insights, digital/social content creation, platform and community management, influencer programs, analytics and reporting
  • Contribute to the development of award-entry quality work
  • Define and develop digital marketing strategies to accelerate pitches and new business acquisition to support our existing Clients

What we’re looking for from you:

  • A natural ability to solidly interrogate a brief, and keep client’s business goals at the fore
  • Solid B2B experience, with an understanding of global markets and trends
  • Be analytical and data driven to meet KPIs and drive ROI
  • Natural curiosity; excited by innovative digital ideas, emerging trends and culture
  • 6 to 8 years of relevant digital experience (agency experience preferred)
  • Strong digital strategy, communications and content development background
  • Solid understanding of social media and the digital landscape
  • Superior communication & organizational skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to talk and influence people at all levels
  • Ability to keep pace with our fast moving production pipeline
  • Calm and tactful under pressure, able to juggle many tasks at once
  • Collaborative and outgoing, with strong leadership skills

Brief Job Description:

A great Account Director is the lynchpin of account management; a super pivotal role with heaps of accountability and influence. The senior team relies on you; the account teams look up to you. You’ll be commercially savvy and understand both the agencies and clients strategic goals. You’ll be managing the team to deliver the best possible work for our clients, and always looking for opps to do more projects; supporting KHWS’ vision.

A true team-player, you’ll set an example and lead from the front. You’ll ensure that we deliver best-in-class account management, day in, day out, and encourage, motivate and cajole your team to get the job done. You’ll be accessible and make smart decisions. You’ll put forward new and innovative ideas; and act as an idea generator for the team.

As you get the most face-time with the client, you’ll be encouraged to feed-back intel and ideas for new projects. You’ll skilfully manage-up, as well as managing the team to deliver consistently great work. You’ll really look out for them, and encourage them to grow and be their best selves.

Integrated with a digital twist, our projects range from web build and mobile apps to POS, instore and promotional marketing.

 

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Develop, manage and grow client relations at a senior level
  • Craft ideas that encourage the client to try new ideas
  • Look for opportunities to extract maximum value from existing projects and attract new ones
  • Be completely on top of your numbers (fees, scope, team chargeability/utilisation etc.)
  • Able to negotiate a good deal
  • Excellent understanding of the clients growth plans & objectives
  • Support with writing strategic marketing plans
  • Be a marketing expert across: web dev & delivery, shopper, ecrm etc
  • Understand how behavioural science can be used as a tool to produce innovative campaigns
  • Oversee and steward the delivery of projects for the client on time and budget
  • Demonstrate best–in-class account management
  • Understand where to delegate, where to manage, where you can add value
  • Work with Agency partners to deliver the best for KHWS and the Client

Our Tech dept is eight-strong, plus freelancers. Predominantly a .Net development house, but with a team comprising both Front and Back-end Developers, UX, and QA, and growing rapidly.

Work has included: a custom umbraco platform for a well-known restaurant chain, we have built and maintained a number of one of the world largest oil supplier’s websites, and we also work very closely with a leading global electronic brand on their TV, Home Appliances, Camera & IT Campaigns.

 

.NET Developers! What we’re looking for from you:

  • Expert in C# / ASP.NET 4.5, MVC 5
  • Entity Framework 5+
  • Experience in developing with SQL Server 2012+
  • Development using Visual Studio 2013
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including jQuery)
  • Source control
  • Bug tracking and workflow
  • Code optimization / performance
  • Troubleshooting of back-end / .NET issues
  • Architect and develop efficient server-side technologies for a variety of platforms
  • Be an expert in the architectural implications of both bespoke and CMS installations
  • Develop reusable code and libraries for team use, documenting where necessary
  • Engage with the wider agency on development related communications & demonstrations
  • Review technical proposals, designs and specifications to ensure they can be implemented, proposing suitable alternatives if necessary
  • Work collaboratively with other teams within the agency, including the Front End, Design and QA teams to ensure sound integration between back-end and front-end code
