OK, let’s cut to the chase

As a SAM, you’re the machine that keeps things going; the driver and motivator of the team below and the person that gets things done. The back-bone of account management; and passionate about creating award-worthy work, you’ll drive best-in-class client services and develop awesome relationships so you’re viewed as their go-to person.

Day-to-day the role is both strategically challenging and delivery focused, so you must be able to flex with the needs of the client and account. On the strategy side, you’ll be working across projects that use our proprietary research tools to drive insight-led pieces of work that illuminate client requirements, and advise on both marketing strategy (instore and ecommerce) and activation (instore, OOH, POS etc). You’ll be overseeing the creative output of all marketing activities.

You’ll be working a well-known alcohol brand, so if you’ve worked in this space before, that would be ideal. We’d like someone with strong integrated experience, and an ATL core. The role is both creative and strategic, so if that is what you’re looking for, read on.

You’ll be able to think both commercially and strategically, and be growing your skills, knowledge, and ideas in this area. You’ll report into an Account Director and potentially manage a more junior team. It’s an exciting time to join the team!

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Direct integrated experience of retail marketing; both TTL and ATL (shopper, POS, OOH etc)
  • Experience of developing super strong client relationships
  • Strategic thinker, able to think and work outside-of-the-box
  • Able to get under the skin of the clients projects, so you become indispensable
  • Be totally comfortable presenting to the client; happy to show them some wow!
  • Experience of working directly with an in-house creative team to design print campaigns
  • Able to spot opps to develop new projects; feeding back to your senior team
  • Be on top of your numbers and billing, drive productivity across the junior team
  • Have a solid awareness of the clients growth plans & objectives
  • Support the senior team to devise campaign strategies
  • Consider how we can use behavioural science in our responses to briefs
  • Make things happen; think ahead and be responsible for all day-to-day management
  • Supervise and monitor WIPs, status reports, schedules and budgets
  • Lead status call updates with market leads, liaise on strategy, promotions & analysis
  • Manage comms with stakeholders regarding complex workstreams
  • A wealth of retail and promotional experience, across multiple markets

Our account management team are looking for the latest member to join their team; a savvy Digital Account Manager to support and guide the running of projects within the account, with support from an Account Executive.

This role will offer you the chance to work with one of the most recognised consumer electronics brands in the world; firstly supporting the on-going management and vision of their best-in-class asset and training portal, and secondly working on strategic and creative brand marketing across UK and Ireland, along with managing print, POS, eCRM and event briefs. The portal is the fulcrum of the account and will require you to be highly organised and work collaboratively with the entire team and multiple stakeholders, so the ability to handle challenging conversations face to face and on calls is essential.

In 2019 we’re moving the portal across to a new tech stack, so an understanding of the technical challenges involved in this would be advantageous.  As a KHWS proprietary platform, there is also scope for this to be rolled out to other potential blue-chip leads.

This is a role that provides genuine and exciting growth opportunities for the right person. More broadly, it’s an exciting time to join the team, as 2018 saw us develop new client relationships, and there is large potential for continued growth in 2019.

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Day-to-day management client accounts and projects
  • Develop excellent client relationships across all levels; be the direct point of contact
  • Ability to manage large volumes of work at pace
  • Website build and management experience, ability to work with tech teams and content editors
  • Integrated experience across POS, OOH, in-store experiential
  • Adept at managing reactive/urgent project requests when required
  • Highly organised with the ability to organise projects from initial brief to completion
  • The ability to solve complex problems when required
  • Team player; able to quickly integrate and become an invaluable team member
  • Confident communicator and presenter
  • Numerate; able to create reports and/or manage account finances
  • Insightful; able to spot insights and trends within data that can support new business opportunities

Essential Experience: 

  • 3 years client services experience
  • Integrated marketing experience, especially digital, retail/shopper and eCRM
  • Experience in managing digital, POS, event would be required
  • Experience in preparing and presenting compelling presentations
  • Finance – Experience in managing budget estimates and billing

Desired Experience:

  • Management of junior team members – Account Executives, Interns
  • Demonstrable client relationship management up to senior level
  • Data and insights – Experience in preparing and creating insight driven client reports
  • Experience with enterprise content management systems would be advantageous
  • E-commerce experience desirable

Brief Job Description: 

Our Tech dept is nine-strong, plus freelancers. Predominantly a .Net development house, but with a team comprising both Front and Back-end Developers, UX, and QA, and growing rapidly. Work has included: a custom Umbraco platform for a well-known restaurant chain, we have built and maintained a number of one of the world largest oil supplier’s websites, and we also work very closely with a leading global electronic brand on their TV, Home Appliances, Camera and IT Campaigns.

We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer, with a passion for getting things done the right way. An expert in architecture and server-side technologies; you’ll be able to ensure we’re securely and stably delivering our promises to clients.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll have a solid understanding of KHWS business goals and the tech strategy, supporting the Tech Lead to deliver against the broader strategic plan.

You’re creatively minded, passionate about emerging technologies, an excellent communicator, and can surface commercially viable ideas to the wider business.

You’ll be comfortable working relatively independently, able to drive your own projects forward, making smart decisions and mentoring a junior team to be the best they can be.

Work in 2019 will be: React-based for our front-end team and .NET C# for our back-end team, maintenance and data tracking of an anti-counterfeit application, single sign on for multiple global websites and portals, a redesign and build of a B2B website and new build learning platforms.

We have just landed more exciting clients for 2019, and are looking to scale-up the team. It’s a great time to join KHWS. We invest a lot of time in our Tech team and have training budgets that we want to fully utilise in 2019.

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Expert in C# / ASP.NET 4.5-4.7, MVC 5, .NET Core 2.0+
  • Entity Framework 6+
  • Experience in developing with SQL Server 2014+
  • Development using Visual Studio 2015+
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including jQuery)
  • 3 years’ experience of Umbraco
  • Knowledge of cloud services (Azure)
  • Source control (BitBucket, SourceTree)
  • Bug tracking and workflow (Jira)
  • Code optimization / performance
  • Troubleshooting of back-end / .NET issues
  • SOLID principles
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery
  • Architect and develop efficient server-side technologies for a variety of platforms
  • Be an expert in the architectural implications of both bespoke and CMS installations
  • Develop reusable code and libraries for team use, documenting where necessary
  • Engage with the wider agency on development related communications & demonstrations
  • Review technical proposals, designs and specifications to ensure they can be implemented, proposing suitable alternatives if necessary
  • Work collaboratively with other teams within the agency, including the Front End, Design and QA teams to ensure sound integration between back-end and front-end code
