Job Title: Account Manager

Brief Job Description: Our ExxonMobil Distributor team are looking for the latest member to join their team; a savvy Digital Account Manager to guide the running of the EAME projects and supporting Global projects from time-to-time.

This is your chance to work with a top global business on a B2B account. Heavily supporting the Account Director, working across a variety of initiatives to support the implementation of marketing, sales enablement and communication programmes that drive user behaviour of target audiences, as well as running email marketing programmes across multiple markets and languages.

Skills & Experience:

  • Impress with your understanding of digital experiences, native & web apps, API’s, user management & CMS platforms etc
  • Able to display your experience of working on digital email campaigns & apps
  • Understand your client inside and out, and manage day-to-day
  • Build the clients trust; gain their buy-in, and develop great relationships
  • Develop understanding of your clients’ business and competitor landscape
  • You will be a super confident presenter, and persuasive to boot
  • Be super-organized, one step ahead, always planning for what’s around the corner
  • You know how to write a sharp and engaging brief
  • You can provide timely client meeting summaries & actions
  • You’re on top of your estimates & can track budgets
  • You can create and monitor timelines, delegate tasks and be responsible
  • You’ll be an awesome manager; look out for your team and mentor juniors

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Senior Copywriter who can capture a brand TOV and apply it across a myriad of channels. You’ll also need to be strategically minded and able to get under the skin of a creative challenge. You’ll work either solo, or as part of team with either a digital Art Director or Designer.

You’ll be working predominantly across two of our largest clients, one in the oil sector, one in consumer electronics, as well as on smaller brands and pitches, on both B2B and B2C challenges.

We’ll expect you to be up-to-date with trends, and know what is happening in the marketing world. An inquisitive researcher, you’ll need to quickly gain an intrinsic understanding of our clients’ competitive spaces and business goals. You’ll need to translate this knowledge into intelligent, effective ideas and copy.

Collaborative by nature, you’ll be an integral part of our team and a key support to our Creative Director (who’s also a copywriter). Outside of your writing space, you’ll be a positive influence in helping KHWS grow and develop both commercially and culturally.


What we’re looking for from you:

  • Can easily capture a brand TOV
  • Able to take briefs and interpret them correctly
  • Is equally comfortable writing for B2C and B2B
  • Has experience of writing for the full media mix including eCRM, content articles, websites, print, scripts and social posts
  • Must be capable of quickly grasping complexity due to the technical aspects of our clients’ businesses and products
  • Can confidently present at internal agency meetings and externally to the client to articulate the thinking behind your creative ideas and copy
  • Will raise the creative bar whenever possible and creatively challenge the brief when appropriate
  • Constantly seek out ways to make the Agency’s copy and creative function more efficient without compromising quality.

Job Title: Senior Account Manager

Brief Job Description: Simultaneously working on one of our oldest and most complex clients in the consumer electronics’ space, and a well-known Italian restaurant chain, you’ll be viewed as the machine that keeps things going; the driver and motivator of the team below and the person that makes things happen. This is a busy and hands-on role, with lots of client contact. You’ll proactively attend events, and be happy to network, and build both client and supplier relationships directly. They’ll rely on you as their go-to person.

The back-bone of account management; and passionate about creating award-worthy work, our SAM’s drive best-in-class client services. You’ll be able to think both commercially and strategically, and be growing your skills, knowledge, and ideas in this area. In line with this, you’ll be able to spot organic and new biz opportunities and sell this in to your senior team (and perhaps the client if we go for it).

A true team-player, you’ll set an example for the junior team who will look to you as a role-model. You’ll directly manage and grow an enthusiastic Account Manager. You’ll be accessible, make smart decisions and really look out for them, encouraging them to grow and be the best they can be.

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Direct integrated experience of retail marketing; both TTL and ATL, and e-commerce if possible (web dev & delivery, shopper, ecrm etc)
  • Experience of developing super strong client relationships, so they trust and rely on you
  • Get under the skin of the clients projects, so you become indispensable to delivery
  • Be totally comfortable presenting to the client; happy to show them some wow
  • Experience of working directly with an in-house Tech team (or closely with an external dev house) to design and build digital platforms/tools
  • Spot and highlight opportunities to develop new projects; feed back to your senior team
  • Be on top of your numbers and billing, drive productivity across the junior team
  • Have a solid awareness of the clients growth plans & objectives
  • Support the senior team to devise campaign strategies
  • Consider how we can use behavioural science in our responses to briefs
  • Make things happen; think ahead and be responsible for all day-to-day account management
  • Supervise and monitor WIPs, status reports, schedules and budgets
  • Understand where to delegate, where to manage, where you can add value
  • Harness the power of your team and motivate accordingly
